All curtain making types are available including triple and double pinch pleat, wave heading (including a non visible stitch option), cartridge, goblet, pencil pleat, pocket top and eyelet headings.
Finishes to suit your client needs and budget are available including handsewn or machined, and various interlined options.
Automated systems are a popular choice, we offer Silent Gliss, Somfy and other options to suit your control needs. Both battery and mains options are available.

Roman blinds are available in many styles. Our specialist team are skilled in the creation of bands, trims, pattern matching around a bay. We will calculate the finish of your choice whether standard, cascade or to a finished stack height. End covers are available to cover the side(s) of the headrail and a top cover to cover the top of a rail, for example for stair windows where the top is on view.
Interlined or bonded lining are great options for our hand sewn roman blinds.
Child Safety is taken seriously at Curtain Expert and we use a durable fully tested system compliant to BS EN 13120. Our products are labelled and safety labels supplied.

Pelmets are made using Essex board, a highly compacted board, this is lighter in weight than a plywood or hardboard and is suitable for many applications. Two weights of wadding are available. Shapes and trims are a great addition.
White pelmet boards are available, with the option to be ready for install with hook velcro attached and brackets supplied. Boards come as 15cm deep as standard or we can cut that down to the depth of your choice.
Cushions, box cushions and bolsters are made to your specifications and can be piped, plain or trimmed. We offer a standard feather fill, premium feather or wool inners (premium feather and wool can be adapted to a soft or firm fill). Wool inners are more popular for clients with allergies.
Tiebacks are available either piped, plain or cord/trim finishes using buckram or naturally soft.
Not all sheers have lead weight attached, we have the skills and equipment for adding this if preferred. Hems are your choice, lead weight bottom, lead weight turned into a double hem or no weight for a soft drape. All heading styles are available too. Thinking of adding a border or trim, we’d be pleased to look at a fabric sample and advise if this is possible.
We have adapted our installation options to support your preferred way of working. We have scaffolding and steamers for hire if you are carrying out your own installation. Maybe you want an extra pair of hands to help on the day? Or we can carry out installation (including automation options) as a representative of your business.
Delight your clients with our curtain dressing service. Curtains can be hooked, steamed, dressed and hung in our workroom. They’ll be ready for your client to use, no need to leave plastic tiebacks/ribbons on the curtains after fitting to train the fabric for your client - the work is already done!
